His passing was a heartbreaker. Spent countless hours with Billy, many fond memories, crazy fun times, and always the best of friends. He was a great guy, one you could always count on, never changed, honest, and genuine. He leaves behind a respected legacy. A privilege to know and a greater privilege to call a friend. He loved his family, friends and Stillwater and we all loved him. God bless you Bill. Pam and family our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Love Carol & Larry Schoch

Jack especially has fond memories of Bill on the Stillwater Flow....Around the age of 16 Bill gave Jack a ride across the flow that Jack has never forgot! We saw him often when we would be up there checking things out and camping. His love for this area was deep. Good memories through the years for you, Pam and your family. We are so very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Billy's passing. He was a good man who adored his family and was loved and respected by many. I don't remember being introduced to Billy, he was always a family friend. I'm pretty sure he never called me by my given name. I was always "Apple." Whenever I hear the saying, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," it always makes me think of him. He is going to be missed. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Pam, Sarah, Amy and Bill Jr. so sorry for your great loss. Bill was so proud and loved you all so much. His grandchildren were his pride and joy who put a permanent smile on his face when around them or talked about them. Bill was always there for his family, friends and even strangers to help with roofs, additions, fixing cars and boats just to name a few things he did for everyone in his life. Bill was a honest hard working man not afraid to get down and dirty to help. Pam you were a wonderful caretaker for Bill, he loved you very much and always said you were the best thing to ever happen to him. He would have been lost without you because you gave him unconditional love and stability .RIP Bill, you will always be remembered by all who loved you. Our thoughts and prayers for all. Pam & family, So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Please, if there is anything you need help with, call me. It was such a pleasant surprise when we reconnected on Face Book. I will always remember his sense of humor. He was an all around best guy. And he was always one for surprises----I noticed the date of his passing.
