Stan was one in a million. Hal, Natalie, and I were all talking about him other day. How we miss his great stories. His tours of the area - windmills, Croghan bologna, cheese curds, drives over to Old Forge, etc.... He is being missed...

I am very sorry to hear this news. "Stan Vantran" was a welcome guest at our house at 6 North Park Street in Adams, whenever my father, Donald Whiteman had his sales meetings in our garage! I remember him a great fun man. I was deeply touched when he came to my father's service in 2008. My deepest sympathies to the members of his family. You were very lucky to have him your lives.

It seems wonderfully appropriate to have Stan’s picture shown with his beloved wife Gene from a much happier time of their lives. Together they were a wonderful couple, going through life’s journey together and showing their love and dedication to God, their family and to all who came into contact with them.
Flora and I remember with deep appreciation all of the help and love they showed us during the recovery from our automobile accident. Stan and Gene were always there for us and countless others and lived their lives as Christ would have them do.
We miss Gene since she went to be with the Lord and now we will truly miss Stan as well. A good friend and dining companion who always lived his life as an example to others. As a minister once said. To die is a wonderful experience if you know the Lord. No more life in this painful body in an often corrupt world but a new life, an eternal life with the Lord. A life with no more pain or sorrow but a glorious existence. I know Stan will join with Gene and will meet and live with the Lord.
