Marj, Gregg and Scott,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I was so honored to be Reed's little sister for so many years. We lived very far apart for so many years after I finished my nursing school and married my beloved Phillips Brooks who was in medical school at the University of Rochester during the same time I was studying to be a nurse.
I so wish we could have been together more over the years but it was wonderful being with you and Marj when we were up north visiting mom and dad Ielfield and of course, Charlotte Smith, a dear friend at Carthage.
I pray that we will be together once again in Heaven to spend an eternity.
I love you, Reed, and will miss our telephone conversations so very much.
Marj, I know the Lord will be with you every second of every day. Turn to Him often. Jesus will sustain you through this most difficult time.
Gregg, Scott and family, please do the same and let the Lord help you during your grief.

Dear Margie, my friend. I am so saddened to hear of the loss of such a great man, like my second father. He was truly a gentle and kind spirit! He always made me feel special and welcome when I visited. He always greeted me with a hug and a smile. I will keep many fond memories of him in my heart! He was so good to my mom after the loss of my father back in 2007. I know she thought the world of him to have such treasured neighbors! May God grant you peace in the days ahead.
