One of my best memories with Nancy (Nanny) is crushing Alex and his friend Edward at Cranium. Nancy is such a good artist they didn't have a chance :).

I only met Nanny three years ago but we became fast friends with kids the same age who could only roll their eyes at us - as teenagers will do.

She was a great mom and a terrific friend. I will miss her

Just found out today. So sorry to hear the news Patrick. I was praying every day that she would somehow get better. Nancy was such a good person and I will always remember her smile and laugh and free spirit attitude. I remember the first day you met, at the Oak Beach Inn, and all the houses we rented together with Nancy cooking us meals and having a great time. Great memories. Donna and I send our heartfelt condolences to you, Alex and Nancy's family. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I will see you next time I'm in NY.

I will always remember Nancy as a fun loving artist that inspired others to laugh and enjoy life.  I am sure her family will miss her dearly and only hope that we all remember her energy and her smile and duplicate her love of life.

Cela va faire bientôt quinze jours que Nancy nous a quittés. Le temps passe mais les souvenirs restent. Nous avons passé de bons moments avec Nancy lorsqu’elle était encore en bonne santé en particulier lors de nos dernières vacances à CAP VINCENT.
Nous garderons d’elle le souvenir d’une personne dynamique et attachante. Nous essayons de soutenir Patrick en lui parlant tous les jours sur Skype. Il a été très affecté par le départ de Nancy. Que dire si ce n’est la grande tristesse qui est la nôtre.
Nous avons communiqué l’avis de décès de Nancy à nos amis qui nous ont adressé de nombreux messages de sympathie.
Paix à son âme et que Dieu la garde.
Nous vous embrassons bien affectueusement.

It is going to make soon fifteen days which Nancy left to us. Time goes by but the memories stay. We had some good times with Nancy when she was still healthy in particular during our last holidays to CAP VINCENT.
We shall keep of her the memory of a dynamic and charming person. We try to support Patrick by speaking to him every day on Skype. He was very affected by the departure of Nancy. That to say if it is the big sadness which is ours.
We communicated the death notice of Nancy to our friends who sent us numerous messages of sympathy.
Peace in his soul and that God keeps her.

Dear Mrs. Solat, Sally, Patrick and Alex,
I am so very sorry.  This is very sad news.  Nancy and I knew each other since first grade, and I will always treasure my time her.  She taught me so much about joy, laughter, life, art, style. I hope you all find some comfort during this difficult time.  Rest in peace my first real friend.  I am a better person because you were in my life.

Nancy was a frequent guest at our home.  We were friends for a long time, a few years ago. We lost touch in the last few years, but we missed her.  We celebrated many milestones together. We laughed, ate and drank a lot.  We have thought about her often.  We will think of her often ... God Bless Alex and Patrick and Mrs. Solat.  With Much Sadness.
