So sorry for your loss. Jan & I were former classmates @Beaver River. Jan was a wonderful, caring person. She was loved by all who knew her, and she will be missed by many. I would like to think that Jan would want us as friends/family to continue her kindness & compassion to the best of our ability as she watches over us in heaven.

During the years I worked at Carthage Area Hospital, I had the privilege of getting to know Jan. We ate many lunches together in the hospital cafeteria. Jan was a lovely, kind and gracious woman. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family and close friends, but we know that she is joyfully with Jesus.

Saddened to hear of Jan's passing, a terrible loss to your family. I loved you MaryEllen and Jan from our first meeting at the office. I am traveling out of town tomorrow for the weekend and will not be able to pay my respects at the calling hours and funeral. Sorry for that but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of getting to know Jan when I would Register at SMC. Despite her illness, Jan was always pleasant and a joy to see. I was heartbroken to here her illness took a turn for the worst. I can definitely say without a doubt Heaven received a wonderful Angel. We will miss you, Jan.
