Cliffy was the kindest gentlest man I knew. I loved him dearly and even though I have not seen him in many years I have thought of him often. He was like a second grandfather to me.

He was beyond funny, honest, loving and had the most tender sole. I am thankful that I was able to have time with him in my life. I will always carry the memories of him and how he could make me laugh, how he cried when he was sad, and how he was just so sincere.

I know he will rest in peace. God bless him.

Tom, so sorry to hear about your Dad passing and your loss. He certainly was a jolly person and always made people laugh. Hard to believe the old gang that used to hang out at the gas station in Houseville are gone. I never attended the card parties but know that the Benedict boys, and George and your Dad sure enjoyed those days. Cliff's memory will last for our lifetime. It is hard when you lose your Dad, our sincere condolences.

So many nice memories about Cliff. The whole Lane Family was very nice to me as I grew up in Houseville. Listened to lots of laughs at the gas station. Last time I saw Cliff, at the eye doctors, first time in many years. Barbara

My condolences on your loss. He was a good man and an even greater friend. I will miss visiting him, shooting the bull, listening to his stories (I could almost keep up with him) and most of all I will miss his laugh - especially when he laughed so hard he would start to cry. May he rest in peace.

Cliff was a very special and unique person. A one and only, whom we both loved. WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. He may have left this place but he will live on in our hearts. There were just too many adventures he shared with us and so many others for him to ever be completely gone. THANKS for sharing him with us.
