State Street, Lowville, NY 13367.

She is survived by a son, Garrett M. Cobb, 20, and a daughter, Brooklyn N. Cobb, 18, both at home; her fiancé, Ben Damuth and his children Derek, Payton, Dalton, and Paige; her mother, Barbara Ward of Harrisville; a sister, Diane and her husband Donovan of Chateaugay, NY; a brother, Michael and Claudette of Gouverneur; a sister, Lynette and her husband Westley “Hank” Boliver of Croghan; her beloved dog Stella; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Lori is predeceased by her father, D. James Ward, and her husband, Rodney M. Cobb, who died on March 14, 2006.

Mrs. Cobb was born on April 4, 1972 in Carthage, NY, a daughter of D. James and Barbara Cole Ward.  She graduated from Harrisville Central School in 1990.  She attended Mohawk Valley Community College, and graduated from Jefferson Community College with an associate’s degree in Human Services.  On June 17, 1995, she married Rodney M. Cobb at Lowville United Methodist Church.  For employment, she first worked for the Lewis County ARC, and later for NYS DDSO for a total of over 20 years.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles, working horses and attending horse pulls and fairs with her fiancé Ben Damuth, and most of all, spending time with her beloved children.  She will always be remembered for her strong personality and for always making sure her kids knew they were loved and always came first, no matter what.  Lori was always the first person to help when needed and would do anything for anyone, even if she couldn’t.  She never gave up on trying to help out and better herself.  She had the biggest hippie heart you could imagine, and as she always said, “Peace and Love.”
