BEAVER FALLS– William A. “Bill” Davidson Jr., 70, of Main Street, passed away early Thursday July 26, 2018, in his home, under the loving care of his family and Lewis County Hospice after a brief illness.
A funeral service with Military Honors will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Calvary Assembly of God, 10 Martin Street Rd (State Rt. 26), Carthage, with Pastor David Frank officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Riverside Cemetery Annex, Beaver Falls. A Calling hour will be on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service, at the church. Contributions may be made to the Beaver Falls Fire Department, P.O. He is survived by a his loving wife, Danine; a daughter and her husband, Adrian “Andi” and Glenn Otto of Huber Heights, OH; a son and his wife, William A. III “Dobbie” and Jaime Davidson of Maricopa, AZ; four step children, Patrick and Jennifer Reape of Ft. Lewis, WA, Paul Reape of Beaver Falls, Joseph and Amber Reape of Naumburg, Emmy Lou Reape and her companion Travis Allred of Carthage; five grandchildren, eight step grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Jan Davidson of Tipp City, OH; and step nieces, step nephews, and several cousins. He is predeceased by a brother, Thomas Davidson.
Bill was born September 26, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late William A. and Leona Jacobi Davidson. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and then joined the Air Force, serving in Vietnam. During his Vietnam tour, he worked as a security officer for 10 years. For 12 years he worked as a medic with the Air Force in Tucson, Arizona. He studied American Sign at Pima Community College in Arizona. In 1989, he worked as a Hospital Medical Technician at David-Monthan Airforce Base in Arizona. Over the years he also worked at several different Air Force Bases, as a medic. In 2001, he moved to New York and worked on Ft. Drum as a Coding Compliance Monitor at Guthrie Army Medical Center. On May 28, 2004, William married Danine M. “Dee” Hoppel at Calvary Assembly of God in Carthage.
