Thomas L. Ramsdell

LOWVILLE- Thomas L. “Ram” Ramsdell, 55, of Lowville, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at his home surrounded by his cherished daughter, Shiana and his cherished grandsons, Bryson and Kaiden.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

In addition to his daughter and two grandsons, he is survived by his adopted daughter and son-in-law, Shania and Shawn Crossett and their two sons, Axel and Bladyn of Groton.  He is predeceased by a brother Frederick Ramsdell.

Thomas was born on March 12, 1968 in Utica, a son of the late Ernest and Norma Ramsdell and attended Brookfield High School.  He worked with his father and grandfather farming, which he loved.  Thomas worked as a buffer/painter for Northeastern Transformers of Preble for many years, moving to Lowville in March 2021. 

He enjoyed, fishing, basketball, playing with his grandsons at the playground, going to Water Safari, amusement parks and fairs.  One of his last wishes was granted a few weeks ago when he went to The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango, NY with his daughter and grandsons, a special day which they all love, especially the drive thru safari.  Tom always looked forward to spending time with Shania and Shawn Crossett and their boys, Axel and Bladyn.  He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
