Thomas S. Bullard Jr.

WATERTOWN - Thomas S. “Tom” Bullard Jr., 83, of Watertown passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the home his daughter Joanne where he resided under her care and Lewis County Hospice.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Joanne (Scott) Andre of Lowville; his beloved Margaret and her daughters, Dianne Smith, Lisa (Olli) Ramsudh and Vicki (Raymond) Countryman all of Watertown; his sister, Dorothy (Ray) Kimball of Point Salubrious; his nephew, Mark (Doreena) Kimball of Chaumont; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren between both marriages; brothers and sister-in-laws and many cousins.  In addition to his parents, Tom is predeceased by his two sons, Terry and Danny Bullard.

Thomas was born on November 29, 1940 in Watertown, NY, a son of the late Thomas S. and Doris Porter Bullard.  Tom graduated from Watertown High School and went on to marry Dorothea Beckstead.  They had three children together, Joanne, Terry and Danny.  The marriage later ended in divorce.  He then married Margaret Gilbert. Together they raised her three daughters, Dianne, Lisa and Vicki.

Most people remember Tom for his ability as a top notch mechanic and body and fender man.  He worked alongside his dad at the Watertown Motors Chrysler Plymouth Dealership in Watertown.  Tom received many awards for his skills.  He and his dad owned and worked on many stock cars, racing at the Watertown Fairgrounds back in the day.  Tom also had a love for fishing and ice fishing.

In keeping with Tom's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Tom's memory to Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
