Robert Eugene Zimmerman Jr.

EVANS MILLS-Robert Eugene Zimmerman Jr., 64, of Boyer Circle, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes there will be no services at this time.    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Alexandria Teachout, Jaymie Zimmerman, Alexis Herd, and Zoie Roberts; grandchildren, Emmalee Butram, Cayson Tubbs, Hunter Grace Simpson, Kizmyn Teachout, Hoyt Simpson, Houston Simpson, Jasper Hanifan, Hudson Herd, and Ella Jordan; a brother, Jessie Zimmerman; a sister, Pamela Morgan; nieces, Brooke Roller, Samantha Zimmerman; a nephew Chris Zimmerman; and many cousins.  He is predeceased by a daughter, Samantha Zimmerman, and a brother Mikey Zimmerman.

He was born on April 13, 1959 in E. St. Louis, Illinois, a son of the late Robert Eugene and Beverly Carol Barr Zimmerman.  Robert was a proud Army Veteran.  He drove tractor trailer nationwide for many years, moving to Evans Mills two years ago to be near his family.  Robert loved motorcycles, building custom bicycles, and dirt bike racing.
