COPENHAGEN- Kathleen E. Kiebach, 90, of NYS Route 12, passed away Saturday evening, August 19, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her husband and son.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in The Riverside Cemetery Annex, Copenhagen at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc.
Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 71 years, Harold; two children, Nancy Eisenhower and Gerald H. Keibach; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, B etty, Barbara, Shirley, and Sandy; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her cherished so, Larry Kiebach, who passed away at age 9; 10 brothers, and a sister.
Kathleen was born on April 5, 1933 in Robesonia, PA, a daughter of the late Clayton John and Nora Ruth Berirnger Sweitzer PA and attended school in Bethel, PA. She worked for Gettle Clothing factory in Berks County, PA. before her marriage. On November 8, 1952, she married Harold C. Kiebach in Berks County, Robesonia, PA. Together with her husband, the couple worked on and owned several farm throughout Pennsylvania for many years. Kathleen then worked for Wernersville State Hospital as a nurse’s aide for 18 years, moving to Copenhagen on August 1, 1999. Since 1999, the couple has owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Champion with the help of their son, Gerald. Mrs. Keibach loved vegetable and flower gardening.
