Katherine Tannis

LOWVILLE- Katherine Tannis, 71, of Cypress Cove, Florida passed away on Monday September 13, 2021 in Florida. A spring burial will be held at the convenience of the family at New Bremen Mennonite Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Local arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

Katherine was born August 7, 1950 in Lowville, NY and is the daughter of the late Robert Michael and Adeline E. Widrick Kirch. She graduated from Beaver River Central School in 1968 a first marriage ended in divorce. She then married her soulmate, Danny Donovan on March 14, 1999 in Homassasa, Florida. Katherine is a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Danny; Three children; six siblings and their spouses, John and Bonnie Kirch of New Bremen; Bob Jr. and Candy Kirch of Croghan; Diane and Jeff Lewis of Redfield; Cheryl and Kip Hilton of Pulaski; Nancy and Charles Woodard of Lowville; Marcia and John Howard of LaPlata, MD; a brother-in-law, Larry Dobransky of Natural Bridge; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
