Jeanne Marie McDougall

LYONS FALLS- Jeanne Marie McDougall, 74, of Lyonsdale Road, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her home, under the loving care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.

Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Lyons Falls Bible Fellowship, 3938 NY-12, Lyons Falls, NY.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon at the church with Pastor Jeff Ford officiating.  A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the funeral, all are welcome.  Any food donations may be taken directly to the church on Tuesday morning.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lyons Falls Bible Fellowship, 3938 NY-12, Lyons Falls, NY 13368 or Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Willie; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael J. McDougall of Lyons Falls; Kevin C. and Kathy McDougall of Lyons Falls; two grandchildren, Tracy (Jerry) Millard of Constableville; Jeremy (Courtney) Hastwell of Lyons Falls; six great-grandchildren, Michayla Millard, Cory Millard, Olivia Millard, Carter Hastwell, Bryce Hastwell, Owen Hastwell; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Maurice and Mary Bartelotte of South Carolina; John Bartelotte of CA; Angela Bartelotte of Port Leyden; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her McDougall family.  She is predeceased by a brother, Richard “Dick” Bartelotte; and a sister-in-law, Tricia Bartelotte.

Jeanne was born on April 22, 1949 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late John G. and Heleva “Bea” Fuller Bartelotte and graduated from South Lewis High School.  On August 17, 1968, she married William “Willie” McDougall in Port Leyden, NY.  Jeanne worked as a cashier for Ames Department Store in Lowville for many years and then for Otis Technology from 2004 – 2020, when she retired. 

She was a member of Lyons Falls Bible Fellowship.  Jeanne enjoyed ceramics, diamond point art, and loved her dogs.  Most of all, she loved picnics, family gatherings and being together with her family.
