LOWVILLE- Carmeta DeLawyer, 100, formerly of Lowville, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Lowville Rural Cemetery on Friday, May 11, 2018 with Rev. Jay Seymour, Pastor of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
Carmeta is survived by two sisters-in-law, Irene DeLawyer of Port Leyden and Sharon DeLaywer of Lowville; two nieces, Diane Brown of Kelpytown and Lucinda Rombough of Lowville, and a nephew, Jason DeLawyer of Sweden. She is predeceased by two brothers, Dorrance and Joseph DeLawyer; and a sister Pauline DeLawyer-Farney.
She was born in Lowville, New York, on October 13, 1917, a daughter of the late Elmer and Pearl Rice DeLawyer. She graduated from Lowville Academy. Carmeta loved to dance and get dressed up.
