GLENFIELD – Carlton A. Spencer, 56, of Pine Grove Road, passed away early Thursday, morning, August 10, 2023 at University Hospital, Syracuse.
In keeping with Carlton’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
Surviving is his wife, Kristi Best-Spencer; his mother, Marlene Spencer of Lowville; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lisa and Ken Thomas of Lowville, Connie and Mike Hirschey of New Bremen, Jennifer Christman of Lowville; his mother-in-law, Brenda Best of Deer River; a brother-in-law and sister is law, Brian and Rebecca Best of Deer River; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Carl R. Spencer; a brother-in-law, John Christman; and his father-in-law, Jack Best.
Carlton was born on May 15, 1967 in Lowville, a son of the late Carl R. Spencer and Marlene A. Williams Spencer. He graduated from Lowville Academy and Central School in 1985. Carlton worked constructions for many years before going to work for AMF in Lowville in 1995, where he was presently employed. On September 30, 2015, he married Kristi Best at their home with Richard Defone, family friend officiating.
Carlton loved to golf.
