GLENFIELD-Beatrice Z. Waldron, 55, of Blue Street, Glenfield, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 26, 2019 at her home, under the loving care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. Calling hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Lewis County General Hospital Fund for Hope, 7785 N. Beatrice is survived by her husband of 35 years, Edward; four children, Joshua Waldron and his companion, Emilee Mullin of Watson; Justin Waldron of Glenfield; Travis and Stephanie Waldron of Lowville; Blair Waldron and her companion, Zachary Farless of Glenfield; 11 grandchildren, Kendra, Carsen, Braedyn, Graham, Owen, Zaidalynn, Blake, Trentyn, Jaden, Alivea, and Avery; her siblings and their spouses, William Blair of Remsen; Bruce and Mary Blair of Madera, CA; Barry and Connie Blair of Whitney Point; Brent Blair of Utica; Rebecca and Bob Cummings of Turin; and Beth Blair of Oriskany; her mother-in-law, Pearl Waldron; her husband’s siblings, Tammy Waldron; Patty and Roger Bush; Mary Waldron and her companion, David DiCesare; Dawn Waldron; Daniel and Kathleen Waldron; two aunts; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents; a brother Bradford Blair; a sister Brenda Blair; her father-in-law, Edward Waldron, Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Anne Waldron.
Beatrice was born on October 18, 1964 in Rome, NY, a daughter of the late William and Shirley Yousey Blair. She graduated from Adirondack High School in 1982. While in school, Beatrice attended B.O.C.E.S. in Glenfield for Nursing and earned her LPN. Prior to her marriage, she worked for Sunset Nursing Home in Boonville. On September 29, 1984, she married Edward Waldron Jr. at Boonville United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Mudge officiating. Over her career Beatrice worked for Lewis County General Hospital, Lyons Falls Head Start, Lewis County Mental Health, and most recently working for North Country Family WIC Clinic in Lowville.
Beatrice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying the outdoors on her porch, flower gardening and crafts.
