Meghan & Jimmy,

I'm sure you don't remember me but I worked with your Mom & Dad at New York Casualty--great people! I enjoyed hearing about the two of you as you were growing up. I was so saddened to learn of this. Your Mom was so full of life. I think of her & your Dad often. May all of your wonderful memories comfort you in time. God Bless.

I and my children: James, Andrew, Catherine and Blaine offer our heart felt condolences to Mark, Meghan, Darwin, Jimmy, Beth and all of the grandchildren. We are not able to be present at this very sad time for all of you, but you all will be in my family’s thoughts and prayers.

The children and I always looked forward to spending time with Mary almost every time we were in Lowville. We have such wonderful memories of all our time spent with Mary and her family. She always offered great insight into humanity and how to deal with bad situations with humor. We spent a lot of time sharing empathy about all of life’s unexpected travesties hitting either one of us and laughing about so many things.

Mary Dolan McIntyre Peters was a very loyal friend and confidant. She will be missed. She will be waiting to greet each of us who loved her when it is our time to pass over. We can be assured that she will know every one’s genealogy to share.

Meghan, Jimmy, Mark & family,
I am so sorry to see that Mary passed away, it is still sinking into my head. I am unable to attend the calling hours or funeral due to obligations that I am committed to. Meghan & Jimmy I met your mother in 1975 when we both worked at BOCES in Watertown, we had some hilarious times working there, then we moved on to Ft Drum where we had more fun times, especially one day when a co-worker tripped & rolled down a ramp in our office & your mother & I could hardly contain ourselves, we talked & laughed about it every time we saw each other. Although I haven't seen her in a while I will miss her greatly. We always had a great fun time with you mother & your father. Will be thinking of you during this heartbreaking time.

Mark and family, so very sorry for your loss. I first met Marry when I brought Jim home to be on hospice. we have been friends ever since. I got to know her very well when I went to Dr. Stillerman .then she married a very good friend of mine. Mark and Mary seemed to be very happy. Mark said more then once that Mary is the love of his life. Again I am so very sorry for your loss, may god be with you all and help you through all that is happening.

Where do I begin? The first day I met you I wore nothing but a towel... what an awkward way to meet the parents of your wonderful daughter and mother to my children. That was just the beginning of weird things to happen. Your family was the closest knit of any I've ever seen. I thank you for welcoming me into it with open arms. We may have had many differences along the but always seemed to resolve them. You were always the first to reprimand me but always the first to have my back if someone or something was against me. It honestly was way to soon. Mary, You were a wonderful grandmother to all your grand babies. A great mom to both your children and you even took Beth and I under your wing. You will definitely be missed. I still can't believe you're gone. My love to you and all the family.
