Andrea M. Martin

LOWVILLE – Andrea M. Martin, 63, a resident of the Lewis County Residential Healthcare facility, passed away early Thursday morning, September 1, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Bethel Church of the Nazarene, Lowville, with Rev. Keith W. Hardy Jr., Pastor, officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Luke Geertz of Lowville; two sons, Dean Jay Martin of Croghan, Walter Matthew Martin of Lowville; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by two sisters, Cornillia Rose Auchmoody and Katherine Phoebe Kniffin.

Andrea was born on June 30, 1953 in Newburgh, NY, a daughter of the late Andrew and Priscilla Hine Auchmoody.  She graduated from Marlboro High School and attended business school.  Andrea worked for several businesses in the Newburgh area and has been a homemaker for many years.  She enjoys crocheting, sewing and embroidery.
