Vincent "Scott" Marks Obituary

Vincent “Scott” Marks of Pound, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 7, 2024. 

He is survived by a son, Brandon Marks of Pound, WI; daughter, Maddison Oleman (Kenny) of Tillamook, OR; son, Yonatan Marks of ID; three grandsons, Kash, Clayton and Arlo; brothers, Reggie Marks of Buhl, ID; Mitch Marks (Sue) of Dexter, NY; sister, Laura McDonald of Clifton Park, NY; nephew, Cole Thibodeau and several cousins. He is also survived by his adoptive family in Idaho; Jill VanSant, Kaleb (KJ), Mandy, Donny, Steven, and Macy whom he cared about and loved very much.

Scott was born on June 17, 1961, in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Reginald Marks Sr and Constance Matuszczak Shaw. He graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1979 where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He married Nicole L. Moore in November of 1987 and years later, ended in divorce. He was known to be a hard worker and worked in construction. In recent years, he went into farming with his son Brandon. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and being at hunting camp. He also had a passion for motocross racing. He loved his family, friends, and enjoyed life. The smile and laugh that he was known for will be greatly missed. 

Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home & Crematory in Coleman, WI have taken care of the necessary arrangements. A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2025 at the hunting camp in Montague, NY. Details will be forthcoming at that time.
