Victoria M. Brownell, 58, of Sebring FL, passed away at her home on September 30, 2024, in the presence of her loved ones after battling colon cancer since May 2022.
She was born Victoria Marie Vary in Carthage NY on February 20, 1966 to the late Kenneth Vary and Katherine Allbritton. She lived in Watertown, Cape Vincent and Chaumont for many years until relocating to Colorado Springs in 2023.
Victoria graduated from Copenhagen High School in 1984. She worked as a waitress for several years and then was employed with Community Action Planning Council for 22 years. Victoria was passionate about her work at CAPC.
Victoria enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a loving, caring and supportive mother and Nana. Victoria showed her children what it meant to be loved unconditionally. Victoria was always willing to help anyone and would often put others before herself. She will be remembered by her unmistakeable laugh, genuine spirit, positive attitude and perseverance.
Victoria is survived by her children, Christi Villamarin of Colorado Springs, Co, Steven Langridge of Colorado Springs, Co and Chelsey Patch of Watertown, NY, three grandchildren Alexander and Joseph Villamarin and Elias Napoli and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Victoria is also survived by her fiancé, Don Medaris.
She is predeceased by her parents, brother, Kenneth Michael Vary and grandparents, Mason and Viola Vary.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice. They helped make Victoria’s two weeks at home more comfortable up until her passing. For that we are very grateful and appreciative.
A celebration of life will be held at an undecided date in the future.
