Tina M. Wormwood

MARCY/LOWVILLE – Tina M. Wormwood, 63, of Marcy, formerly of Lowville, passed away on Monday morning February 12, 2024 at Wynn Hospital, Utica.

She is survived by her six siblings, Michael Wormwood of Newport, NH, Douglas (Lynn) Wormwood of Lowville, Richard (Marie) Wormwood of Lowville, Laurie (Brian) Rice of WA, Mary (Shawn) Onderko of Ava, Joseph Wormwood of NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is predeceased by her father Floyd J. Wormwood who passed away on July 27, 1985; and her mother, Patricia A. Wormwood, who passed away on October 21, 2023.  

Tina was born on March 28, 1960 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Floyd J. and Patricia A. Bush Wormwood and graduated from South Lewis Central School.  Tina worked for Lewis County Industries for over 20 years.  She moved to Marcy, NY on March 27, 2018. 

Tina was of Catholic faith.  She enjoyed jig saw puzzles, making pot holders, journaling, feeding her birds and practical jokes. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, her housemates, and her caregivers.

A funeral service at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville will be held at a date and time to be announced this summer with burial in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Croghan.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Tina M. Wormwood to The Arc, Oneida-Lewis, 7550 S. State Street, Lowville, NY 13367.
