Thomas P. Miller

FRANKFORT/WEST LEYDEN- Thomas P. “Tom” Miller, 72, of Mary Street, Frankfort, formerly of West Leyden, passed away at his home on Saturday evening, December 23, 2023 under the loving care of his family and hospice. 

Calling hours will be from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc, Lowville with the funeral at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.  A gathering at the Lowville VFW will immediately follow the funeral service, all are welcome.  Any food donations may be taken directly to the Lowville VFW on Friday, after 12:00 p.m.  Sympathy cards may be sent to Mrs. Cheryl Miller, 317 Mary Street, Frankfort, NY 13340.

He is survived by his beloved wife of forty three years, Cheryl; his children, David (Elizabeth) Miller of Glenfield, Roxanne Miller-Woods (Michael Woods) of Beaver Falls, Christopher (Alyssa) Donaldson of Marietta, Scott (Sharon) Farr of Pelzer, SC; a daughter-in-law, Deanna Pate Miller; thirteen grandchildren, Megan, Willow, Peyton, Tayden, Axton, Shayla, Ariana, Nicholas, Hailey, Liam, Danielle (Matt), Alyssa (Tony) and Dustin; and six great-grandchildren, Conner, Case, Juliet, Jada, Aspyn, Avrik;   He is predeceased by a son, Jamie E. Miller; and a brother Frank Mecca.

Thomas was born on June 22, 1951 in Syracuse, NY, a son of the late Elwood and Pauline Brando Miller.  He graduated from South Lewis High School in 1971.   On September 6, 1980, he married Cheryl D. Farr in Lyons Falls.  Tom was a lifelong tree climber/cutter and owned and operated Miller’s Tree Service until his retirement.  He loved going to the movies and spending time with his family.
