Shannon Waldron Obituary

There will be a Celebration of Life for Shannon L. Bush Waldron on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Croghan Fire Hall from Noon until 3PM.  Shannon passed away on January 8, 2021. Shannon’s family would like to invite family, friends and Co-Workers to come and Celebrate Shannon’s life with us.  Shannon had a huge heart and could lite up a room with her smile, she will be forever missed.  Come and just drop by or stay as long as you would like.

 

 

CROGHAN – Shannon L. Bush Waldron, 51, of Soft Maple Road, Croghan, passed away Friday evening, January 8, 2021 at the Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse.

Services will be held in the spring.  In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Croghan Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, P.O. Box 405, Croghan, NY 13327.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

Shannon is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Loren; her  cherished son, Hunter; her parents, Bernard and Barbara Bush of Lowville; her siblings, Duane (Jan) Bush of Wisconsin; Kimberly (Larry) Ritz of Croghan; Michael (Chris) Bush of Lowville; David (Cathy) Bush of Missouri; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie and Lisa.  She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, William and Hilda Smith; and paternal grandparents, Henry and Frances Bush.

Shannon was born February 6, 1969, in Lowville, NY, a daughter of Bernard and Barbara Smith Bush.  Shannon graduated from Lowville Academy in the class of 1987 and attended SUNY Cobleskill for floral culture and design.  She worked a short time at local flower shops.  She worked for Kraft in Lowville while in school.  Shannon went back to work at Kraft after college, where she currently worked as Materials Coordinator.  On June 6, 1992, she married Loren Waldron Jr. at St. James Catholic Church, Carthage.

Shannon was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville.  She was a member of Croghan Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, where she served as secretary.  Shannon was on the care team at Kraft and was in charge of the Kraft booth in the dairy building at the Lewis County Fair.  She also was in charge of the Kraft employee product sale.  Shannon loved her Kraft family and Loren’s Croghan Meat Market family.  Shannon loved to travel and attend Hunter’s races.  Shannon, Loren and Hunter loved their racing family.  Shannon enjoyed the outdoors and her dogs; she also enjoyed playing games and visiting with her neighbors; her computer; and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Shannon had a huge smile and loved people.  She lit up the room with her laughter and personality.  Shannon was a true giver and will be forever missed.
