Pamela Kendall Obituary

Pamela Kendall, born on New Year’s Eve to Paul and Betty Fredenburg Miller, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Pamela was a lifelong resident of upstate New York, and attended Beaver River School and went on to work in many roles over the years, including at the Miller House, Rusty P’s, and as an over the road truck driver, driving the BIG Rigs across the United States for many years with West Side transport, Hummer, and also as an owner-operator with Landstar.

She was the proud mother of three children: Magdalynn (Karl) Muncy of Lowville, NY; Jacob (Trudy) Widrick of Elberon, IA; and Amber (Todd) Friedersdorf of Arab, AL. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren—Emilee, Desiree, Mae, Missy, Cody, Colton, Vaughn, Maci, Weston, Kyle and Aiden, whom she loved, each a treasured part of her life.

She is survived by one aunt, many cousins and close friends, all of whom were touched by her generous spirit and warm heart.

Pamela was an incredibly strong, resilient and independent woman who lived life to the fullest means possible. She embraced every moment with heart. She loved wildlife, animals, crafting, swimming in the river, and being outside in nature. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her constant joy and pride.

She was of Christian faith and lived her life guided by kindness, and an open heart. She leaves behind her two beloved dogs, Wolf and Finneus, who were her faithful companions.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Betty Miller, several aunts and uncles, and many of her closest friends.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In keeping with Pamela's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.  Burial will private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pamela’s honor to the Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367 or Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367.
