CROGHAN- A graveside service for Monica A. Twombly, 65, formerly of Soft Maple Road, will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Croghan.
Monica passed away late Thursday evening, January 11, 2024 at University Hospital, Newark, NJ.

CROGHAN- A funeral service for Monica A. Twombly, 65, of Soft Maple Road, will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Donald Manfred, Pastor of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, officiating. Spring burial in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Croghan.
Monica passed away late Thursday evening, January 11, 2024 at University Hospital, Newark, NJ.
She is survived by her daughter, Darinda Babcock, whom she loved so much, and her fiancé Gregg Pietramala of Watertown, and her five children, Jazzmyn, Jace, Jax, Jayma, and Jiovanni, all of whom she loved so much; special niece, Shannon Larkins; nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, her former companion, Darian Genito and the Genito family, and her dear friends Rhonda Farney and Randy Simmons. She is predeceased by her siblings, Duane, John, Veronica, Mark, and Paul Jr.; her niece, Christene Larkins; and her beloved cat Luke.
Monica was born on June 30, 1958 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Vernon H. and Margaret Smith Adams. She graduated from Beaver River Central School. Monica was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan. Monica enjoyed watching the news, soap operas, cross word puzzles, word searches, reading, and sitting on her porch. She loved visiting with people and would talk your ear off. Monica loved to know what was going on in the community and loved to talk about what was going on with her. She was well known for being the go to person for phone numbers, as she had them all memorized. Monica was her family’s go to person for everything and will be greatly missed.
