LOWVILLE – Michael S. Burke, 70, of Rural Ave., Lowville, passed away under the care of his loving family and Lewis County Hospice on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at his home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Beaches Bridge Cemetery, Watson. There will be no calling hours or funeral. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Michele Burke of Glenfield; two aunts, Rosalie Merry and Judy Adams; two nephews, Shane and Derek Burke; five great-nieces and nephews, Hunter, Kylee, Drake, Isabel and Hailey Burke. He is predeceased by his mother in 2010, Sally Hanson.
Michael was born August 17, 1953 in Lowville. He attended and graduated from Beverly School for the Deaf in Beverly, Massachusetts. Michael worked as a groundskeeper at Whetstone Gulf State Park for many years until his retirement in 2022.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
