Linda Miller Obituary

LOWVILLE- Linda Lee Miller, 58, formerly of Gardner Road, passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2023 at the Lewis County Health System Nursing Home, where she has resided since September, 2022.

She is survived by her son Justin Potocki of Watertown; two grandchildren; her mother, Hazel Jane Miller of Lowville; her siblings, Jack and Joanne Miller of Wisconsin; Allan Miller of Herkimer; Walter Miller of Martinsburg; Clark “Butch” Miller Jr. of Turin; William Miller of Martinsburg; Sally and James Golden of Chaumont; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Miller and a sister-in-law, Nancy Miller.

Linda was born on April 30, 1964 in Oneida, NY, a daughter of the late Clark Miller; and Hazel Jane Franklin Miller.  She attended Lowville Academy.  Linda worked in manufacturing in many states, including Florida, Wisconsin and New York.  She and her son lived near Daytona, FL for many years, moving back to Lowville in 2001 to be near her family.  Linda worked for the Carriage House Restaurant in Watertown and for Ethan Allen in Boonville.  Most recently, she worked as a home health aid for the elderly.  She enjoyed word search and crossword puzzles, sports cars, especially camaros and her blue and silver Trans Am.  She loved the beach.  Linda was an avid animal lover and often said she was closer to her animals than most people.

A graveside service will be held in Martinsburg Cemetery in the spring.  There will be no calling hours or funeral service.  Contributions may be made in memory of Linda to Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funera lHome, Inc, Lowville.
