Linda J Crosby

CARTHAGE-Linda J. Crosby, 75, of Fuller Road, passed away on Thursday evening, October 17, 2024 at Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Boonville.

She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Smith of Watertown; three granddaughters Trisha Smith, Tori Smith, and Vallie Kenfield and a great-grandson Sage Paul Kenfield.  She is also survived by two siblings, Darlene VanAlstyne of Chaumont; and David Slate of Alabama; nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by a son, Paul D Kenfield; and a sister, Carol O’Donnell.

Linda was born on June 27, 1949 in Brownville, NY, a daughter of the late James H. Slate and Jean Benney Slate Company and graduated from General Brown High School.  She was a member of Watertown Eagles Club, Watertown VFW Auxiliary, and the Watertown American Legion Auxiliary.  Linda enjoyed being with family & friends.  She loved to have her nails done.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
