Judith A. Burrows

LOWVILLE- Judith A. “Judi” Burrows, 67, of State Route 26, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Lewis County Residential Healthcare Facility, where she has resided a short time.

She is survived by three children, Timothy and his wife Melissa Burrows of Glenfield; Leette McCollum and her fiancé Bryan Rogers of Martinsburg; Tonya Snyder of Lowville; seven grandchildren, John, Phil, Reginald, James, Cooper, Lexy, and Alex; a sister and her husband, Jenny and Tom Jackson of Wyoming; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is predeceased by a brother, Reginald Burrows; and a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Nick Bush.

Judy was born on September 22, 1956 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Elmer C. and Rita M. Potter Burrows and graduated from Lowville Academy in 1974.  She raised her family and briefly worked for Lewis County Head Start before going to work at Lowville Academy and Central School as a cafeteria/recess monitor for several years.  She was a life member of Lewis County Memorial Post #6912 Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed baking and playing solitaire on the computer, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Iseneker Funeral Home Inc., with burial following at Lowville Rural Cemetery.  Immediately following the burial there will be a luncheon at Lowville VFW, 7744 West State Street, Lowville, all are welcome.  Any food donations may be taken directly to the Lowville VFW starting at noon on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.  Contributions may be made in Judy’s memory to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O.
