John (Josh) W. Barrett, Jr.

AMSTERDAM- John (Josh) W. Barrett Jr. entered eternal rest on January 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 14, 1946 in Rochester, NY, the son of Elizabeth and the Honorable J. Willis Barrett. 

On October 28, 1980 Josh married the love of his life, Mary Lee.  Surviving, in addition to his wife of 43 years, are his children, Erin Marshall Manns (Shane), grandson Mason Shea Manns, Brian Jacob Barrett and Sarah Gannon Barrett (Jason).

A Roman Catholic service of remembrance will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Those who wish to remember Josh in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, alz.org.
