She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Ryan-James and Isabella Bailey and her cherished granddaughter Brielle of Herkimer; Nicholas and Alene Bailey of Mohawk; her best friend and domestic partner of 17 years, Arthur Brown; her parents, Ned and Evelyn Burdick of Sandy Creek; one sister and brother-in-law, Tricia and Jeremy Streeter of Lowville; one brother and sister-in-law, Nathan and Carrie Burdick of Rochester; several special and close aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, George and Moon Meyer; her paternal grandparents, Ned and Toots Burdick; her father-in-law, Tom Galvin; and an uncle, Charlie Burdick.

Heather was born on December 15, 1975 in Fort Hood, Texas, a daughter of Ned and Evelyn Meyer Burdick. She attended Beaver River Central School where she attended BOCES for Early Childhood Education Program and graduated with the class of 1994.  After graduation, she attended Herkimer College and obtained her associate’s degree in human resources.  Heather had a very diverse employment history and she excelled at each of her positions.  Her strong leadership qualities were a true asset to any company she worked for.  In many of the companies, she developed new programs to enhance productivity and then taught those programs to everyone.  She did a little of everything, from sales to management.  Heather was a hard worker with big ideas.

Heather had always been the biggest supporter of all the kids in the family.  You would see her at most sporting events, musical plays, and anything else that simply needed Mama T to be there cheering them on.  Heather Babe was also known for taking the time to find the special baked good that each individual loved and then fine tune it for them.  She loved so deeply.  Heather had many “bonus kids” because she had so much extra love to give and always made everyone feel accepted and welcomed into the family.

Condolences and memories may be made to the family online at www.isenekerfuneralhome.com.
