Gregor William Volpe

WORTH – Gregor William Volpe, 81, of County Route 95, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Upstate Medical University Hospital, Syracuse.

A graveside service will be held in Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, NY, at the convenience of the family.

Gregor was born on July 17, 1944 in Valhalla, NY, a son of the late Raymond and Margaret Rubick Volpe.  Mr. Volpe briefly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and then co-owned a gas station in Tarrytown, NY for twenty years with his brother, Jim Volpe.  Gregor also worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Town of Greenburgh, NY, and built houses as a self-employed General Contractor.

Gregor enjoyed cooking Italian meals and engaging in various home improvement projects.

He is survived by four children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and by his brother.
