LOWVILLE- Gerald C. Williams, Sr. 82, of Jefferson City, TN, formerly of Lowville, passed away on Monday morning, October 26, 2020 at the home of his daughter, Karen Williams, under the loving care of his family.

A Funeral Mass will be said at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville with Rev. Jay Seymour, Pastor, officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Lowville Rural Cemetery. There are no calling hours. We ask that you please wear a mask. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.  In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367 or DaVita Dialysis, 7785 N. State Street, Lowville, NY 13367.

Gerald was born on May 20, 1938 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Tell P. and Mary Pasternak Williams. He attended Boonville and Buffalo schools, and rural school in Martinsburg & Lowville Academy. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.  On July 1, 1961, he married Caroline V. Zubrzycki on July 1, 1961 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Houseville.  She died on August 24, 1979. He married Ann Pelo in 1981. She died in 1994. He later married Maxine Fivecoat. Gerald drove truck for many years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, woodworking, riding on his four-wheeler and real estate. He also enjoyed coming to visit the family often. He loved spending time with the grandchildren, and his many friends and family members. He liked going up to R&R hunting camp. He always had a great sense of humor and could brighten anyone’s day. He knew how to fill the room with laughter, and always made everyone smile. You could always hear him whistling no matter where he was.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; his three children of Caroline V. Zubrzycki, Gerald “Jerry” C. Jr. and Renee Williams of Copenhagen; Karen M. Williams of Lowville, Joanne and Terry Souva of Lowville; three grandchildren;  Nakaylah Souva, McKenna Souva, and Dylan Williams, Maxine’s children, and Ann Pelo’s children; and cousins.
