Obituary
BEAVER FALLS-Elizabeth M. Houppert, 89, of Farmington, NY, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at her home.
She is survived by her two children, MaryJo Coleman; and Kent (Amy) Houppert; five grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Robert James Houppert; two sisters, Lois Smith Kerr and Barbara Erb; and a brother, Walter (Ramona) Zehr.
Elizabeth was born on September 8, 1933 in Beaver Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Lehman Zehr. She attended Beaver Falls High School. On December 15, 1956, she married Robert James Houppert. Mr. Houppert passed away on July 22, 1978. Elizabeth has an associates degree in accounting, and worked as an insurance agent at J.D. Chapman in Macedon, NY until her retirement.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at First Mennonite Cemetery, New Bremen. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association, CNY Chapter, 5015 Campuswood Drive, Suite 102, East Syracuse, NY 13052. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
