Elaine Burns Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Ken and Missy Burns home, 7709 Adams Hill Road, Lowville,

LOWVILLE, NY– Elaine H. Burns, 81, of Dicob Road, passed away at her daughter’s home in Newport, TN, surrounded by family and friends.

Elaine was born October 23, 1940, in Patterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor McFadden VanSaun.  Elaine graduated Ramapo High School in Spring Valley, NY in 1958.  On May 26, 1962, she married The Love of Her Life, Frank (Burnsy) Burns, in Midland Park, New Jersey.  In 1968 they moved the family to a Jefferson County dairy farm in Pamelia, NY, working as a self-employed dairy farmer.  They eventually moved the family to a farm in Evans Mills, NY until they retired from farming in 1987.  After retiring from farming, the family moved to their present address in Lowville, NY where Elaine spent the next 31 years as a very devoted real estate agent in Lewis County.  Elaine had a significant impact on the lives of many people during her lifetime.  She always believed there is good in everyone, and we all need to look for the good in each other. ��
