Deborah Ann Overton

LOWVILLE-Deborah (Yelton) Overton, of  Lowville, NY, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023, at home under the care of her loving husband and Lewis County Hospice.

She leaves behind her loving husband; Mike Overton, her children; Jody (Dragan) Sharp, Joel Dragan; siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, and a nephew. She was predeceased by her parents; Verle & Wynola Yelton of Talcottville.

Affectionately known as Debbie, she worked for the Lowville/Turin ARC for many years and was well-loved by her coworkers.

Debbie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She tended to her beautiful flower bed and loved her own backyard, including the wild birds she loved to watch.

She was a treasure to all who knew and loved her and will be immensely missed.

Debbie’s husband would like to thank Lewis County Home Health Care,  Lewis County Transportation Center, and Lewis County Hospice for all the support they gave during Debbie’s illness.

A private memorial in her honor will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
