LOWVILLE/TRUMANSBURG- Carol Hope Santucci, age 87, of Lowville, Trumansburg, NY, Minneapolis, MN, and New York City, passed peacefully in her sleep on comfort care after a previous aorta repair started to deteriorate.
Per Carol's wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
She is survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Carol was pre-deceased by brothers, John Paul, Richard, and Robert Santuci; a sister, Antoinette; half-sisters, Sophie Doerr, Helen Liebler, and Gertrude Fitzsimmons; and a half-brother, Jerome Duffy.
She was born in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late John Paul Sr. and Sophie Leonora (nee Slomczewska) Santucci.
Carol was a social worker in New York City and Ithaca, NY, helping many families in her career.
She had a full life, enjoyed the outdoors, opera, Star Trek and playing chess.
