LOWVILLE-Beverly Ann Elizabeth Widrick, 84, of the Pavilion Health Center at Brightmore, Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Watertown and Lowville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2020. She was born September 11, 1936, in Watertown, New York, to the late Merton Gerald and Teresa Lehman.
She attended Carthage area schools. She married Edward Arlon Widrick on October 15, 1955, at the Beaver Valley United Methodist Church, Naumburg, New York. They resided in Castorland where she was a wife and mother. She later worked at Gingerich’s Egg Factory on route 410 in Castorland. When they moved to Lowville, she was employed at the Lewis County General Hospital as a laundry worker where she retired in the mid-1990s. Mr. and Mrs. Widrick later moved to Watertown before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2004, where they resided with her son Keith and daughter-in-law Tammy Widrick. Mr. Widrick passed away July 11, 2011. Mrs. Widrick had resided at the Pavillion Health Center since January 2018. Survivors are her five children; Bruce (MaryLou), Glenfield, New York; Sherry(Gary) Cameron, Roanoke Virginia; Keith (Tammy) Widrick, Charlotte, North Carolina; Jerry, Fairfield, California and Jean(Brian)Austin, Elgin, South Carolina. Mrs. Widrick is also survived by brother, Robert Lehman, Orlando, Florida, and sister-in-law Loretta Zehr, Croghan, New York, Along with seven grandchildren and nine (soon to be 10)great grandchildren. She is predeceased by one brother, Richard Lehman, two sisters, Vivian Ellenberg and Betty Thompson, one grandson, Andrew Cameron, and one great grandchild, Jackson Hedgepath.
She is also predeceased by her beloved poodle, Missy. She was a former member of Beaver Valley United Methodist Church. Beverly was also a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. A private service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill, South Carolina. She will be interred at the Naumburg Union Cemetery, Naumburg, New York, at a later date with Rev. Bruce Chapman officiating. Contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
