What a genuine man!! I had the privilege of being hired by Mr Marcott for the GATE program. His first consideration was always what was best for the children. I was blessed to have his support for trips and programs planned as he would say, ' do what you think best, but make sure it works'! May God comfort you at this time. Susan Richter

We are so sorry for your loss. I wish we could've met your father earlier, before his illness, but even still he was a sweet, funny and caring man. And he (and your mom) were blessed to have such a supportive family.

What a great family! I had your Dad for a teacher when I was a kid and your Mom was the school nurse when I became a teacher but I will miss them most of all when they would stop on their way to camp and chat with me and my pup. I have many great memories of your family.

My condolences to Mr. Marcotte's family. A good teacher and kind man is well remembered. My experiences were when he taught at Copenhagen Central as a 7th and 8th grade Math and Science teacher. He,also, taught 5 th grade where my older brother thought the world of him. He made it easy to understand and learn. forever in my school memories. We hated to lose him as a teacher, but others gained his knowledge and caring as an administrator.

I had Mr. Marcotte for 8th grade science. He was a wonderful teacher, one of Lowville's finest. My best memories were of driver education class, our trips to his camp and especially our Chinese fire drill at the four corners in Lowville. Quite excitement!!! Imagine that today!!! We had many nice chats through out the years. He is now with his lovely wife Pat. The best of the best. God be with you.

Mr Marotte was my math teacher and driver ed in structor at LACS. One of my favorite teachers ever, remembered as such a nice gentle man. I often think back of him when he would ask "don't look now, but what color is the car in your rear view mirror?" What he taught me in the advanced calculus class served me well in preparing me for college and my subsequent career in scientific research. Such a caring and nice man in my memory. May his family and all who he touched feel the same wonderful legacy.

Wayne hired me for my first teaching position at BRCS and was my boss until he retired. He became not only my boss, but also my friend. Although we didn't always agree on work issues, he always listened to my concerns and respected my opinion. He was an honorable, caring man who loved the students and staff he had entrusted to him. Rest In Peace, Wayne, you lived well!

Wayne was the elementary principal at Beaver River when I was the coordinator/teacher for the G/T Program there. He was caring and supportive of everything I did. When I became his Park Avenue neighbor he'd stop and chat if I was outside when he took his daily walk. It was a pleasure to know him and his wife, Pat. My sympathies to his family.
