Ralph M. Cobb Jr.

LOWVILLE – Ralph M. Cobb, Jr., 55, of Maysville, NC, formerly of Lowville, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at North Carolina East Hospital in New Bern, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Martinsburg Cemetery with Rev. Evan Zehr officiating. There will be no calling hours. A fellowship meal will immediately follow the graveside service at Lowville Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lewis County Humane Society, 6388 Pine Grove Road, Glenfield, NY  13343. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home Inc.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Cobb of Maysville, NC; a daughter, Kylie Cobb of Martinsburg; 2 grandsons, Ledger and Noah Brownell; his mother and step-father, Julia and Joseph Zehr of Lowville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Loren Richardson of Burlington, NC; Susan and Edward Croniser of Boonville, NY; Katrina and Daron Biro of Taberg, NY;  aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by a daughter, Courtney M. Cobb who died in 1993; his father, Ralph M. Cobb Sr. who died in 2009; two brothers, Robert M. Cobb, who died in 1970, and Rodney M. Cobb, who died in 2006.

Ralph was born on February 19, 1963 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Ralph M. Cobb Sr. and Julia Koster Cobb. He attended Lowville Academy. On May 11, 1984, he married Donna McGrath. The marriage later ended in divorce. He worked construction for many years in New York and North Carolina. In January 2006, Ralph married Diana Rohrer in Florida.

Ralph loved his animals, and enjoyed flea markets and collecting antiques.
