Leroy John Higby

CONSTABLEVILLE-Leroy John Higby, 67, formerly of Constableville, died of natural causes on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his home in Leesville, SC.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Constableville.  Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.

Leroy was born on May 1, 1950 in Constableville, NY, a son of the late Myles F. and Marion Leffingwell Higby. 

He is survived by a daughter, Joanne J. Higby and two grandchildren, Kerry James and Aubrey Jane Murphy of Amsterdam, NY; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Myles and Roxie Higby of Boonville, Raymond and Barbara Higby of Lowville, Robert and Rita Higby of West Leyden, and John Higby of Constableville; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret Northrup of Lowville, Carolyn and James Akin of Odessa, FL, Mary Randall of Blossvale; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leroy was predeceased by two brothers Karl and Charles Higby; a sister, Anna Higby Ottman; a brother-in-law, Francis Northrup and a sister-in-law, Janet Randall Higby.
