I'll never forget Florida in the winter of 1972. Our families were visiting our grandparents. While the older folks played cards, the younger Newvine and Croneiser kids hung out, played the radio, and sang along to the then new song "American Pie". I still can't think of that song without thinking about that fun Florida trip when I was in my mid-teens. Blessings in memory of Charleen.

I'm was heart-broken to hear of Charleen's passing. I'm so sorry. I'm the Occupational Therapist who has worked with Charleen in Lewis County for almost 20 years. So caring of a person. I remember telling her I was having a fundraiser for my one-year-old nephew as he needed a bone marrow transplant. She opened up her wallet and took every last dollar out of her wallet. She said "no child should be sick". Will miss her dearly.
