Biography
COPENHAGEN – David A. Chase, 61, of Woodbattle Road, Copenhagen, died Sunday morning January 1, 2011 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
He is survived by two brothers, Ralph E. Chase of Castorland, Donald R. Chase of Copenhagen; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, and a sister Carolyn Ann Chase, who died September 24, 2010.
David was born on April 27, 1950 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Robert W. and Genevieve Arthur Chase. He graduated from Copenhagen Central School and took over the family farm, where he raised heifers. He worked as a milk tester for DHI throughout the North Country for many years.
He was a member of the Harrisburg Town Board and the Tug Hill Commission.
David loved hunting and watching sports.
