Biography
LOWVILLE- Joseph F. Campany, 70, of Lowville, died Monday morning, December 26, 2011, at the Lewis County Residential Healthcare Facility, where he has resided since October.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville, with Rev. Daniel L. Chapin, Pastor of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Croghan. A calling hour will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to JDRF, CNY Chapter, 100 Metropolitan Park Dr. #400, Liverpool, NY 13088.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Mike Herzog of Mattydale, Donna and Kevin Helms of Marshville, NC, Tammi and Carmen Carr of Syracuse; his mother, Martha Campany of Lowville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Carolyn Campany of Concord, NC, Lynn and Gail Campany of Lake Bonaparte; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Eleanor and Bernard Bush of Croghan, Karen and Gary Wrayno of Cary, NC, Linda Campany of Greensboro, NC, a brother-in-law, John Powers of Watertown; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by a sister, Dorris Powers.
Joseph was born on May 6, 1941 in Lowville NY, a son of the late James Campany and Martha Bockenheim Campany and graduated from Beaver River High School and Canton ATC.
