BOONVILLE– Ronald W. Stefhon Jr., 46, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his mother’s home in Lowville.

The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville with Rev. Bruce W. Chapman, officiating.  Burial will be at Lowville Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 12 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home. A gathering at the Lewis County Search & Rescue Training Center, 7782 W. State Street, Lowville, will immediately follow the funeral service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lewis County Search and Rescue, P.O. Box 247, Lowville,NY 13367.

He is survived by his son, Camden of Norfolk; his mother and step-father, Mary and Harvey Ingersoll of Lowville; his father, Ronald W. Stefhon Sr. of Theresa; his fiancée, Kelly Myers of Boonville; Camden’s mother, Aimee Barney of Norfolk; his siblings, Timothy P. and Jana Ingersoll of Lowville, Paul S. Ingersoll and his companion Alden “Jack” Brown of Lowville, Melissa and Frederick “Dean” Brindisi of Fairport, and Jennifer and Tracy Byrd of Olive Branch, Mississippi; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by a sister, Catherine E. “Katy” Stefhon-Allen, who died September 11, 2004; two brothers, Peter and Michael Ingersoll; his maternal grandparents, Beverly and William V. Bourgeois; his paternal grandparents, Edna and Ralph Stefhon; and a niece, Amanda Ingersoll.

Ronald was born on July 14, 1971in Lowville, NY, a son of Ronald W. Stefhon Sr. and Mary C. Bourgeois Stefhon and attended South Lewis Central School.  After his education, he worked in construction for many years. He was currently working for Dan’s Excavating in Johnstown, NY.

He enjoyed remodeling houses, roofing, and he also took pride in painting the bridges and water towers regionally. He was the first one on the job each day, and the last to leave. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son, and was very proud of him.
