Phil was one of my first motocross influences and I still think of him when I'm riding dirt bikes with my son. Very sad news of a great guy. May god bless him and his family.

My words can not describe how sorry I am for your family. Phil was a joy to have around i truly do miss him. After I left the keep home I would always call and check on the residents .... good days or bad days pop (as I called him) would always say or do something to put a smile on our face :( Phil was one of the few who took a special spot in my heart and always will.

Phil was a very nice guy. Back in the late 60's he got me interested in motorcycles. A hobby I have enjoyed to this day. Rest in peace Phil we had some good times
