Peter J. Beadore Sr.

LYONS FALLS- Peter J. Beadore Sr, 81, of Cherry Street, died at home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 under the loving care of his wife Dawn and Lewis County Hospice.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Contributions may be made to the Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682 Lowville, N.Y. or the Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266 Lowville, N.Y. 13367.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; four children, Deb and Ken Rudd of Boonville, Paul Beadore and his wife, Melinda of Malden on Hudson, Rhonda Less and her companion, Scott Decker of Hamburg, Fred Beadore and his wife, Renee of Kentucky; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Beadore and his wife, Shige of
Greig; several nices, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by two sons, Douglas Beadore, and  Peter J. Beadore Jr., and a brother, George Beadore.

Peter was born on April 2, 1936, in Highmarket, N.Y., a son of the late Clarence and Mabel Alm  Beadore.  He graduated from General Martin High School, Glenfield and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953 – 1957, when he was honorably discharged.. On April 6, 1977, he married Dawn Makuch in Alabama.  He worked in several supervisory positions for Lyons Falls Pulp and Paper until his retirement in 1996, as Maintenance Manager.  Peter enjoyed the outdoors, feeding the deer, birdwatching, reading, and his beloved dog, Chico.
