Nancy M. Reape

CASTORLAND – Nancy M. Reape, 69, of Van Amber Road, Castorland, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home. 

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville with Pastor Dan Tabolt officiating. Calling hours are Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday, February 17, 2018 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.  Immediately following the funeral service there will be a gathering at the Lewis County Search & Rescue Training Center, 7782 W. State Street, Lowville. Any food donations may be taken directly to the LCS&R Training Center on Saturday morning.  Spring burial will be at Lowville Rural Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lewis County Search & Rescue P.O. Box 247 Lowville, NY 13367.

She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Thomas; her 4 children, Patricia and LaVerne Smith Jr., Lowville; Kelly and Leslie Reape, Castorland;  Kris and Daniel Foote; Guilderland, and Tammy and Kevin Zehr; Croghan; 5 grandchildren: Amber, Kayla, Kirsten, Molly, and Thomas; 1 great granddaughter, Korlyn; several step- grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is predeceased by 2 sisters; and 2 brothers who died at birth.

Nancy was born May 5, 1948 a daughter of the late William and Patricia Kelly Albertson and was a 1965 graduate of Father Leo Memorial School, Croghan. 

On June 25, 1966, she married Thomas L. Reape at St. Stephen's Church, Croghan, with the Rev. Anthony Moore officiating.    She was a homemaker and previously was employed at the AMF plant; Lowville, Beaverite Corp.; Beaver Falls, for Dr. Ismail, Beaver Falls, for Dr. K. Amhed, Lowville; and as an Avon representative.  She was a volunteer EMT for over 25 years with Lewis County Search and Rescue and had also been on the New Bremen Board of Elections for over 40 years.
