Mary Ellen (Nero) Steiner

LOWVILLE – Mary Ellen Steiner, 62, of Rice Road, died on Monday evening, April 24, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center.

Services will be held in Lake View, New York at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; three children, Robert and Susan Steiner of Goldsboro, NC; Anita Normandy of Colorado Springs, CO; Rachael and Michael Schneider of Lowville; six siblings, Celio Nero of Florida; Carol and Frank Zielinski of Depew, NY; JoAnne and Jim Ciurzynski of Lake View, NY; Michael and Debbie Nero of Lockport, NY; Joe and Trina Nero of Lake View, NY; Chris and Betsy Nero of Nevada; 14 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was born in Buffalo, NY on November 27, 1954, a daughter of the late Celio and Ruth Arlington Nero.  She was employed as Manager of Denny’s Restaurant in Cullman, Alabama until recently moving to Lowville to live with her daughter and son-in-law. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
